Referrals
In our efforts to offer the highest standard of care for your pets we are aware that certain conditions require specialist expertise or facilities which Feldon Veterinary Centre itself may not be able to offer. In these cases we will offer referral to veterinary surgeons with more expertise in these fields.
We pleased to offer a new veterinary dermatology referral service in the Midlands. UK Vet Derm, in partnership with Feldon Veterinary Centre, offers expert advice and care for dogs, cats, horses and small mammals. UK Vet Derm can provide;
- Rapid diagnosis and a tailored treatment plan
- Better long term management of skin problems for you and your pet
- Reduced costs as conditions can be managed less expensively with an accurate diagnosis
- Liaison with referring vet for long term management of the problem
Our consultants are Certified Dermatologists with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons; Dr Stephen C Shaw Bvet Med PhD DVD MRCVS, (National dermatology consultant to Guide Dogs) with 20 years experience and Mr Simon Want BVM&S Cert VD MRCVS, a practising vet for 15 years who has been taking skin referrals for 4 years.
