Exotic patients

The exotic animal service is a referral service dedicated to provide all medical and surgical services possible to ensure high quality care for your exotic pet. Should your pet require to be hospitalised then we provide correct husbandry and environmental conditions for each exotic species and provide 24-hour nursing care. We treat all exotic pets from small mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, frogs and many others.

Emergencies

We provide a 24 hour emergency service based at Feldon Veterinary Centre in Leamington Spa. You can telephone the surgery on 01926 423161 anytime day or night. Outside normal opening hours you will be given a mobile telephone number to call which will connect you directly to the on call vet or nurse.

Consultations

We provide a compassionate and caring service for all small animals. We endeavour to keep case continuity so that one vet deals with any one problem. This not only enables a good relationship to develop between vet and client, and vet and animal, but also ensures that case progress can be accurately monitored. For your convenience, consultations are by appointment as this helps to reduce waiting times.

Routine appointments usually last 15 minutes but can be extended if required. A visit to the vet can be a stressful time for pets as well as their owners. We recommend that your pet is kept securely under control on a lead or in a suitable carrier at all times. Help is on hand from reception should you need any assistance in bringing your pet in.
