Marie Garbutt, Student Veterinary Nurse

I am a first year student nurse at Feldon. I am based at the Leamington surgery and attend Warwickshire College, one day a week. Coming into Veterinary nursing was a big career change for me. It has proved to be a good decision as I love my job! I have a horse, who I bought as a three year old, fourteen years ago. We are growing old together. She’s had more than her fair share of illness in the past but is still going strong! Her days are spent happily grazing with her pals and being ridden around the village.

Julie Fenn, Student Veterinary Nurse

Originally from the Isle of Wight, I started my veterinary nurse training in Brecon, Wales in 2006. Allured by a progressive dynamic practice I applied to Feldon in March 2007 and am looking to finish my training and qualify this December. The training is hard work, but I find the job very rewarding and still enjoy every aspect of what I do.

I live in Leamington with my two rescued cross breeds Pepper and Cody, who currently keep reminding me just how useful pet insurance can be with all their knocks and scrapes.
