Sheona Alemi VN, Practice Manager

I was born in Edinburgh and trained in Sheffield as a Veterinary Nurse. Upon qualifying in 1993, I returned to Edinburgh to work at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. It was there I met a vet student called Viv and we married in 2004. The rest, as they say is history. We moved to Leamington Spa in 2000 and founded Feldon Veterinary Centre with two college friends. I began as Head Nurse but in 2004 I hung up my green nurses dress for the last time and took over as Practice Manager. I love the job but it doesn’t leave me much time for my other passions: cooking, theatre, travel and shopping!

Kerrie Lucas VN, Practice Administrator

I was born and raised in Coventry but have managed to live all over the place. I qualified as a vet nurse in London in 1998 and worked down in Surrey for a few years before deciding try a career change and joined the army as a mechanic. There I experienced a few things that I never thought would happen to me, but had a fantastic time and met some great people, including my partner. We decided to set up home together and by chance we ended up in Coventry. Our family is completed with J, the Springer Spaniel, Edi the Border Terrier and any small furries I have at the time.

I started work at Feldon’s in 2008 as the practice administrator, pushing pens and shuffling paper and loving every minute of it. If ever I need a nursing fix I simply go into the kennels and play with the nearest cute puppy or kitten. Outside of work I enjoy the outdoor life, especially when the sun is shining, reading and I am a keen amateur photographer.
