Jane Smith, Receptionist

I was born in Sutton Coldfield and have lived in Kenilworth since I was four. I have always loved animals and had my first pet, a cat, for my fifth birthday. In August 1976, I started working for Lane & Murray Veterinary Surgeons, (who were taken over by Feldon in 2000). I was a nurse/receptionist for almost two years but then left to continue secretarial training. Almost thirty years later, I am back!! I am married to Bob and have a daughter Charlotte who is 18. The love of my life is my eight year old springer spaniel, Tess, who we adopted from springer spaniel rescue 12 months ago.

Sarah Vincent, Receptionist

I worked for Lane & Murray for several years at the Warwick branch, before they were taken over in December 2000 by Feldon. During the last few years I have enjoyed all aspects of veterinary work especially the opportunity and challenge of hand-rearing kittens, rabbits and wood pigeons. My own pets consist of 2 chinchillas and a 16 year old cat as well as a mixture of other small furries over the years. I am a member of the RSPB and enjoy watching the wide variety of birds that visit my garden on a daily basis.

Sue Barker, Receptionist

My love for animals started from a very early age and I have been surrounded by dogs and horses for most of my life.  I was born in the UK and educated here but moved out with my family to Madrid in 1976 and lived and worked there until my return to the UK in 1986. I opened my own retail business in Leamington in October 1987 and continued with this until May 2007. I am still surrounded by dogs and horses and spend my free time competing and enjoying long walks in the countryside (with the odd bit of gardening when the lawn gets too long!).
