Oral Health Update
Did you know that our pets’ oral health is a much overlooked area when caring for our pets? A large percentage of pets have some form of dental disease by the time they are aged only 18 months.
Dental disease, or periodontal disease as we vets call it, can not only lead to bad breath, problems eating and unsightly smiles, but also to serious infections like abscesses and gum disease.
To try to address the problem, and to aid early treatment and subsequent prevention, we have recently launched a new dental procedure which treats the earliest stages of disease thus costing you less money, and your pet less trauma in the future.
We would take our dentists’ recommendations to have our teeth cleaned, so why not look after your pet’s teeth too and ask for an estimate for dental treatment next time you come in.
We carry out dental procedures on a daily basis and can fit around your busy schedule with our extended opening times, allowing you to drop your pet off before work and collect when you have finished for the day.
Nothing is too much to take good care of our pets’ little pearly whites and keep their smiles happy and healthy.
